The project is located in the South Park of Chengdu High-Tech Zone,with net land area of 3840 square meters and construction area of 13786 square meters.This is an expansion project.
The emergence of new buildings is bound to break the original space order.Therefore the harmony and balance between the new and old buildings are the most important task in the design.The original function of the land is a basketball court for exercising use.but the new dormitory and dining room will encroach on the student’s sports space.In our design,on the north side of the dormitory is a multi-level aerial platform which provides more fitness activity space to make sure the student’s sports space will be richer than before.At the same time,through the connection of each layer’s corridor,the design ensures the accessibility for ten minutes break between classes.
