The Bid-Winning of the Project of Xinnan Community Placement Housign and Supporting Facilities(Including a Kindergarten)
On June 21,2010,Our company successfully won the bidding of the project of Xinnan Community placement housing and supporting facilities(including a kindergarten)
The project，located in Chengdu High-tech Zone.with a total construction area of 81300 ㎡，was designed to hold 766 local land-lost families，and equipped with a 9-class kindergarten.
It was the first time for us to design such people's livelihood project,so we used understanding ,respect,realization as our guiding idea througout the design.In the early stage,we invested a lot of resource to visit ,interview and research the land-lost families,so that we could have a general knowledge about their living habits and real requirements.After those efforts,we managed to have a comprehensive understanding about their current living situation and their expectation for the future.
Based on the full understanding of the service people,we creatively put variable space and storage space in our housing design,and the rural scenery,chatting house in the landscape design.Moreover,we integrated the Public Banquet Square and Centralized Business in the supporting facilities,to go back to the principle that architecture should serve the people.
Our whole-hearted endeavor finally got sincere return.The proposal was consensus recognized by the expert group.Our design differentiated itself from 9 tenders and successfully won the bidding. The project was a milestone for our company because it opened a door of livelihood project design for the company,and it also helped all of us to find our beginner’s mind as designers.
